Groundshaker Wildwood Boss: Location and Strategy Guide
Find the route, read the attack tells, use the break window, and survive the burrow-and-Poison-Rain phase.

Open the original Chinese guide ↗Groundshaker Wildwood is a main-story boss. Its attacks are deliberately paced, but the fight becomes much easier once you recognize its tells, force a break, and use the short execution window correctly.
Location
China-server route: Chunxi Foreshore — Youjing City Fordstone.
After entering Youjing City, link up with your companions and continue past the alchemy station. The boss encounter triggers on the route ahead.
Preparation and positioning
The boss moves slowly and may swap targets. Bring recovery items and keep enough space to evade its wide-area attacks. Ranged Resonances are particularly comfortable here; the source recommends Xi Shi, Jialuo, Wang Zhaojun, or Meng Ya.
Its standard head slam causes falling rocks, while its stomp can launch nearby targets. Do not stand in front of the boss for longer than necessary.
Read the red telegraph
Do not confuse an ordinary head slam with the red warning. When the red telegraph appears, the boss follows with a charging rush that knocks up anyone in its path. Step out of the lane instead of retreating straight backward.
Break window and execution
Keep dealing damage until the boss enters its Break state. This is your opening for extra damage: use the execution skill immediately while the prompt is available.
Burrow and Poison Rain
After the execution, the boss staggers briefly, burrows, and then uses its tail to cast Poison Rain. Treat the lingering area as dangerous ground and reposition before the damage stacks up.
Finish the second phase
When Groundshaker Wildwood resurfaces, it chains head and tail attacks before returning to patterns you already know. Maintain spacing, repeat the break-and-execution cycle, and empty the remaining health bar to complete the story encounter.
